FORUM ENGINE CHANGE

Fellow ORSians,

We are in the process of upgrading our forum engine so as to have better user interface and stability.

edit* ~~The switch over to the new forum engine is planned for 1st September 2008.~~

We have moved the switch over to midnight 08/08/08 instead of 01/09/08.

But for those who wants to go to the new engine the hard way the url is www.offroadershack.com/forum

As the new engine is incompatible with the current one, you will need to re-register your account. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The old forum will be archived but still assessable, however new postings have been disabled.

Forum etiquette

Fellow ORS,

I'd like to remind us all of ORS's 6 Commandments where postings and treating fellow ORS are concerned:

1) Be nice to fellow ORS members in your postings and dealings with them. Don't create an atmosphere of animosity or uneasiness amongst fellow members.

2) Do not post offensive materials in the forums be it for viewing, reading or trading.

3) Flaming/Baiting/ Trolling in any form is strongly discouraged.

4) Spamming members pm with unsolicited information and advertising is a no-no.

5) Do not whine or complain about the rules and do not abuse the site administrators or moderators for enforcing the rules. Take the whining and complain off the forums in either private messages or email. Or start your own forum and set your own rules.

6) Attempts to cir*****vent being banned by re-registering under another name will be considered a blatant disregard for the rules of the website and subsequent usernames will also be banned. In addition, the attempts to cir*****vent the rules will not go favorably in your defense when/if you should ask to be un-banned.
